Dubai and the Dubai Expo is a destination in itself.

It caters for all types of public and it is possible to get to the root of the place, the culture, what really matters.
Lots of work, new meetings and reunions with partners from all over the world at TFest in Dubai this October.

Our first face-to-face event after the start of the pandemic and lots of good energy for a week in which the world has opened up and is waiting for us in an even more special way!

Dubai is no longer just a pit stop for Brazilians heading to Asia, but a destination in itself.

We've come to the city to take part in TFest and we're taking the opportunity to meet partners (new and old) and get up to date on new hotels and experiences in and around the city.

The Marina is one of our favorite areas in Dubai, even for accommodation. This is where you'll find the brand new and beautiful Adress Beach Hotel with its infinity pool and floating breakfast, and Caesars Palace in the heart of Blue Waters, where excellent restaurants are popping up.

For those who don't want to give up staying on the beach, we visited two incredible hotels that we highly recommend.

More modern, with a hip chic vibe, great music and fine cuisine, the Nikki Beach Hotel is 15 minutes from downtown by car, but those who stay there don't want to leave. Guests have a free pass to the famous Nikki Beach Club, which is next to the hotel, but far enough away to ensure tranquillity for guests who prefer a more private atmosphere. The villas are very charming and face the beach. We suggest the Nikki for those guests who like the beach and a more relaxed luxury. Best value for money among the hotels in the area.

More luxurious and wonderful is the Bugari Dubai Hotel. Italian design, wonderful spa, suites with breathtaking views and spectacular star cuisine. In our opinion, the best beach hotel in Dubai. The hotel has its own boat and offers a transfer to the Dubai Expo by water. Is it amazing or not?

Sustainability Pavilion to become a Science Center
Opened on October 8, Expo Dubai is an attraction that deserves a few days of dedication.

More than 190 countries are exhibiting their concept and their contribution to sustainability, mobility, accessibility and the opportunity for creative business in the world.

The intention is to present visitors with the best that eachcountry has to offer for a future of integration, exchange and technology.
Some TASTE tips for those planning to visit the Dubai Expo, which will be welcoming visitors until March 2022:
1. Taste the World features over 200 restaurants with food from all over the world.
Some with star chefs such as David Myers, Matthew Kenney and Rohit Ghai, others prioritizing local street food and others offering typical and local products as well as some presenting a gastronomy for the future. Irresistible, unmissable and fattening!

2. Before you start exploring the pavilions, go to the Garden to see the scale of the event from above and get your Expo Dubai passport to stamp the various countries represented there - there are 192 countries in all.

3. Interact with the more than 150 robots that are running around Expo Dubai and are available to help visitors locate pavilions, choose food and drinks, etc. They are very cute. They are very cute. I talked to several of them.

4. Book your place at the London bakery and baking school, Bread Ahead, where master teachers will guide you through creating professional-level cakes in a home environment.

5. enjoy all the fun of the fair on Around the World, a classic Venetian carousel with beautiful hand-painted images from previous World Expositions.

6. run the world. Sign up for the Expo Dubai running program and run alongside participants from 192 countries. Although I signed up, the weather was too hot (35ºC at 6 AM) and I gave up running.

7. LATIFA PLAYGROUND - More than just a playground, this is an interactive space full of fun. Jump over the nets in the "zero gravity" chamber, leap into orbit around the swings and board a replica of the UAE's Hope Probe.

8. UNIQUE FOOD HALL EXPERIENCE WITH TALABAT KITCHEN The two-storey Talabat cafeteria not only offers around 30 food concepts, but also uses cutting-edge technology and robotics to offer an efficient dining experience.

9. BE A PART OF THE WORLD'S FIRST AFRICAN DINING HALL ALKEBULAN Experience the continent's vibrant culture through food, music and art at Alkebulan, which brings together seven acclaimed African chefs from around the world.

10.. THE FUTURE OF FOOD WITH EPOCHALBANQUET
Step into the year 2320 with Bompas & Parr's immersive multi-sensory studio and Expo 2020 bringing Epochal Banquet, a pioneering two-hour culinary experience. Inspired by space, microbiology, artificial intelligence and hyper-intelligence, it will awaken your senses in a radical new concept designed to highlight the impact of AI on the future of restaurants.

These are some of the experiences we've suggested, but there are more, much more. Just to get you started, some of the pavilions that most enchanted us were those of Germany, Norway, the United Arab Emirates, Japan, Saudi Arabia, France and Belgium.

Visiting, experiencing and living Expo Dubai 2020 is an unmissable experience that warms and stirs our soul with creative and positive ideas for the world that is reopening after a pandemic that has affected everyone in some way.

Congratulations Dubai on a job well done and thank you for the excellent welcome!
