The Costa Vicentina is Europe's longest beach. With a length of 42 km and no houses or hotels on the sand, it has not yet been invaded by tourists and remains a treasure yet to be discovered in all its identity.

For accommodation very close to the beach with a lot of charm, design and comfort, we recommend Sublime Comporta, which for this summer is bringing a new feature: beautiful villas under the waters of an artificial lake.

To enjoy Comporta, Pego beach and SAL, a great bar right on the sand, is our suggestion. Try the black cuttlefish rice, the most popular dish in the house. I tried it and I can assure you: delicious!

A little to the north and already in the Serra da Arrabida, Casa Palmela is our recommendation to stay just 40 minutes from Lisbon and 15 minutes from several beaches that are real hidden treasures. The hotel's main house dates back to the 15th century and is impressively well preserved, with beautiful tiles and adapted for today's needs. You'll find history and luxury in this hotel, which faces an idyllic and beautiful landscape of mountains and vineyards.
